The training program consists of nine phases, which can be taught by the Japanese Embroidery Center’s certified teachers. The tenth phase, which certifies the completion of the Curriculum and teaching skills, can only be taught by Japanese masters.

The Japanese Embroidery Center, western branch of the Kurenai-kai atelier (Togane City – Chiba Prefecture JP) holds a series of lessons throughout the year. The certified teachers around the world organise their teaching calendar according to their own schedule. However, the spirit and the attention to the needs of each individual student remain the same. So do the standards for teaching these various techniques.
As from Autumn 2020 online teaching is also permitted.
